We hope you enjoyed last month’s first ever email blast! We hope our pUpdates keep you updated and in the know for everything Boone Bark & Borrow! Thanks for reading and keep telling your friends!
Of course, we’re going to start off by thanking Appalachian State’s Softball team for volunteering this month by cleaning cages, helping feed the dogs, and playing with them! The shelter really appreciates all the work! Of course, thanks to all our readers, supporters, users, and donators! We couldn’t do this without all of you guys!
Good news! Four dogs have been adopted this month already! Let’s keep that number growing. We’re overjoyed to see Max, Luna, George, and Pickle finally go to their furever home!
With that being said, we have a new dog here at the shelter! Tank just arrived from Texas after being misplaced from the hurricane. He is, understandably, very shy in his new surroundings. He would for love some Boone Bark & Borrow users to come hang with him for a little to help him relax. He is a very sweet boy, but very shy. Come say hi!
Our contest for November, pup with a pumpkin, is coming to an end, so start thinking about December’s! December is snow month. Here in Boone we will likely have snow falling soon -- so snap a picture of your “rented” pup playing in it for a chance to win. Post it on Facebook and be sure to tag us for a chance to win a $5 gift card. Contests end 11/29 and 12/29, respectively.
Our pUpdate is almost complete, but of course not without the feature dog of the month! June is our lucky dog this month! She is a silly, happy, friendly, and energetic four year old! June is a border collie mix and super smart. She loves to run around and be outside. June has been tested around and is great with other dogs and kids of all ages. She’s looking for her furever home and would love to meet you!
